I would recommend using lavender and or tea tree oil as an antiseptic b/c if the wipes are not used in time, they will mildew (also, use distilled water or boiled water).

A girlfriend of mine put me onto this site not too long after I had my first, beautiful baby boy! I love your articles and couldn't agree with this particular one any more. While I was pregnant I launched my own advice website - http://www.bikiniwaxvideo.org - because staying at home was becoming far too much for me to handle.

When my son finally arrived, despite being so taken with him the workaholic in me also was in the back of my mind pushing me to work more on the site but when you see the magical look in his eyes when he's playing with Mummy then there is no WAY that anything - websites or TV - will ever get in the way!

Thanks for the write up and I hope they keep coming! :)

A baby is a growing person and you need to give a baby the best possible start in life. Any thing that could put your baby at risk should be avoided at all costs! If you are so lazy to use a microwave do NOT have a child!

I feel angry after this!

I have also been thinking about cutting diary from my diet, I kept hearing too much will increase your risk of many deathly diseases and cancers. Keeping my diary intake in check and not over doing it should prove to be a safe route. I don't know what I would do without my cheeses! Thanks for the article, it is exactly what I wanted to hear.

It is so important to be aware of what goes into the products that you are consuming or using. There are strict guidelines and regulations regrading chemicals that go into products and while most of these products meet with the guidelines, a collective can put yourself at risk.

Thanks for the insight on the debate! The what-if factor is what’s scary! It’s such a dilemma because cell phones have been so integrated into our daily lives. I’ve done some research on radiation protection products and found there are some products out there which allow you to go about your daily life with peace of mind. The best ones I found were from Pong Research because they divert the cell phone radiation away from your body and head, and don’t disrupt the signal. Pong’s cases are proven to reduce SAR (specific absorption rate) up to 95% below FCC limits while protecting the signal strength. They protect the whole cell phone, and still provide good protection from drops and bumps. They offer cases for the iPhone, Android phones, Blackberrys and even the iPad. It’s only slightly more expensive than other sturdy cases, so why not spend the little more to protect yourself and your children!

These are some great tips. I especially like the cookie idea. Flax tastes great, and anything to help reduce the amount of sugar is always a good thing.

WOW!! How is this information not common knowledge? I have never heard of any of this, and that's more than a little bit concerning for me. Right after reading this I went to check the ingredients in my deodorant, and sure enough, aluminum is in there. Needless to say, it is now sitting in my garbage can.

Thanks for all of this important information. I will definitely pay more attention to these things in the future. If such simple steps can be taken in order to decrease my risk of breast cancer by even a little bit, I will take them.

Thanks again!
